THE BOOK- When Roman King decides that after high school graduation, he will not try out for college baseball and will instead marry his high school sweetheart, Linda, his father, Dave forces Roman to try out anyway. As the warring father and son duo fly to Honolulu for the try outs, they crash on a deserted island where they face not just the demons of the sea, but of their own minds.
As Roman and Dave struggle to connect and survive, Roman develops the physical strength and unique skill set to succeed as an outstanding baseball phenomenon-if only they can get off the island.
This story captures the essence of young love and parents wanting the absolute best for their children. Read how Roman achieves his dreams and that of his father's in ways never even imagined.

This book was inspired by the passing of my wife Linda. Throughout the writing process of this novel, I felt Linda’s presence guiding me along this journey. The experience was surprisingly cathartic and moving. I felt Linda’s input was with me all the way - just as if I had a direct line to her in Heaven.
It has been a blessing from God.
Enjoy the journey with us.
My intention in writing this book is to keep my wife Linda’s memory alive not only to friends and family, but also to anyone and everyone who has fallen in pure and everlasting love.
As mentioned in my dedication to my wife Linda, we celebrated our 50 Wedding Anniversary on September 12, 2021. My beautiful wife went up to Heaven, less than two months later, on November 3, 2021, nine days short of her 70 th Birthday.
Linda suffered from Lewy Body Dementia which is a type of progressive dementia that leads to a decline in thinking, reasoning, independent function and generally has a short life expectancy.
The pain and hopelessness felt in your heart is beyond comprehension.
There are no words in the universe to describe the anguish, sadness and hopelessness I have felt. My heart has been broken.
Lewy Body Dementia is a vicious assault on the human brain.
I pray that someday soon there will be a breakthrough for this crippling disease that took my Linda from me and the world.

Linda and I have been together since we were 15 years old. Inseparable. In 2021, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on September 12
During these 50 years God has blessed us with two beautiful girls Desiree and Bernadette, and our son in law Stephen whom we cherish as a son.
Linda loved everyone, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. Hate, revenge, jealously, were not in her dictionary. Linda did not know the meaning of these words.
She was the perfect peace maker. Linda’s smile could warm the coldest heart. She would light up the darkest room. Linda made me a better man. She led by example. A true hero in every sense of the word without fanfare.
If anyone made it to heaven it is definitely my Linda. She was pure of heart and soul. When the Good Lord calls me, I must be ready, if I want to spend eternity with my baby. I must continue in her footsteps and lead by example.
Lewy Body Dementia is a form of Alzheimers Disease which took Linda from me and my family. This is a heart wrenching disease beyond description. I hope and pray more people become more aware of this disease and as a result generate additional resources and research to eliminate this vicious attack on the human brain.
Rest in Peace Baby, I love you.
The love between the two characters in the book was real, and I thank God every day for that.
To make the book more appealing to the masses, I created a crash landing on a deserted island
where a father and son must work together if they were going to have any chance to survive.
While on said island, the son unknowingly develops a skill set unique for baseball, but his only concern is to get back to his lovely Linda.
Without giving away too much of this book, it's a fantastical journey where baseball magic happens through spectacular plays and love is a grand slam.
This story Baseball After Life, captures true love, faith in God and family, perseverance, and the
will to never give up. In todays time, I feel this message is sometimes lost or not highlighted enough.
I believe Baseball After Life is a Feel Good Book for everyone and possess this beautiful message.
It grabs your attention from the very start and never let’s go. Brand new author and he has nailed it! Get your copy now! Great read!

This is a story about a teenage boy deeply in love with his childhood sweetheart, but he is also trying to please his father who wants him to have a career in baseball.
The characters are well developed and the story kept me entertained from start to finish.
This is the first book by this author and I hope there are more to come.

It’s an amazing tribute to you and Linda and the special people you and your family are.
I always knew you loved Linda but this book expresses your deep faith and the beautiful
degree of that love. You were both blessed people to have experienced that kind of love. It’s good you put it out into the world so others are inspired. Thanks so much I enjoyed the whole
book.
